MediaBase

A lot of people have various CD or DVD collections. No matter if we are talking about music, games, software or movies, all these discs need to be properly organized and cataloged, so that in case the user needs to find a certain title, he won't need to look in the entire collection and, as such, he won't lose precious time. Unfortunately, organizing a disc collection using just pen and paper, like some people do, is not efficient and may cause you to lose a lot of time and effort when requiring to find a certain disc.

A much better solution for organizing and keeping track of your CD or DVD collection is to use the MediaBase application, a Windows program which was specially designed for storing information about any CD or DVD collection, allowing you to find any of them in the shortest time possible. After the application is installed and launched, the user will first see a tutorial, which presents the program's functionality and features and allows the user to get familiar with MediaBase.

After the tutorial is complete, the user will notice the main interface of MediaBase and will be able to easily add new titles to his disc collection, just by accessing the top menu. Optionally, he can add titles using the graphical buttons. When adding a title to his collection, one will be able to add a lot of information about it, which will make the collection much more efficient. Its efficiency is also improved by including an advanced search utility in the interface, which allows the user to find a certain title or list of titles just by adding some information about the disc, like the release year or title.

MediaBase allows adding several databases into its interface, each containing a specific disc collection. Besides this, the list of titles can be either exported to a HTML or text file or saved as a project file, for later use.
